SWIPE & SAVE RULES AND REGULATIONS (“Official Rules”)
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. THIS CONTEST IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS AND IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL AGREEMENT WITH AND ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES.
(1) CONTEST PERIOD
“SWIPE & SAVE” (the "Contest") begins at 12:00 a.m. ET on August 7th, 2025, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on August 13th, 2025, (the "Contest Period") and runs during normal store hours at participating Leon’s locations.
(2) ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to Canadian residents, including residents of Quebec and excluding those who have not reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they reside at the time of entry (each an "Entrant"). Employees and their immediate family members (including those with whom they are domiciled) of LEON’S FURNITURE LTD. (the “Contest Sponsors”), their respective affiliates, directors, officers, governors, agents, their advertising and promotional agencies (together with Contest Sponsors, the "Released Parties") are not eligible to enter the Contest.
(3) HOW TO ENTER
During the contest period, eligible participants with a valid email address who are making a purchase in-store of qualifying merchandise, will be presented with a digital “Swipe & Save” experience by a store manager.
When “swiped”, a winning discount amount will be revealed on screen. All Discounts must be used at time of receipt. Under no circumstances can the eligible participant leave the cash counter and select additional items once the discount has been revealed. Moreover, under no circumstances will the discount on the screen be applied to another consumers purchases. No adjustments will be made on previous purchases.
(4) PRIZES AND ODDS
There is a total of 27,100 entries available at the beginning of the period, however only one is allowed to be redeemed per customer/sales order.

Discounts apply only to select merchandise purchases of furniture, mattresses, appliances, and electronics*. (*EXCLUDES Best Sellers, Feeling Connected and Clearance/Markdown Centre items.) Discount is NOT applicable on the purchase of gift cards, services, taxes or fees, and CANNOT be combined with other offers.
(5) GENERAL RULES
In the event of a conflict between the Official Rules and any instructions or interpretations of these Official Rules given by an employee of the Contest Sponsors regarding the Contest, these Official Rules shall prevail. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
(6) INDEMNIFICATION
By submitting an Entry into this Contest, each Entrant confirms his or her understanding of and compliance with these Official Rules. Each Entrant, and his/her representatives, heirs, next of kin or assignees (“Entrant’s Representatives”), hereby releases and holds the Released Parties harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the Entrant, Entrant’s Representatives or any other person, including personal injury, death or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize, participation in the Contest, any breach of the Official Rules, or in any Prize-related activity. The Entrant and Entrant’s Representatives agree to fully indemnify the Released Parties from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Contest, without limitation.
(7) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
None of the Released Parties assumes any liability for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of Entries in the Contest, the selection of Winners or for any printing or other errors in any Contest materials. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, tampering, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or authorized access to, or alteration of Entries. The Released Parties are not responsible for any problems, viruses or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or Direct Messaging on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to Entrants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in the Contest.
None of the Released Parties assumes any liability for any personal injury or property damage or losses of any kind, including without limitation, direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive damages which may be sustained to an Entrant's or any other person's computer equipment resulting from an Entrant's attempt to either participate in the Contest or download any information in connection with participating in the Contest or use of any website. Without limiting the foregoing, everything on any website is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
(8) CONTEST ADMINISTRATION
All decisions regarding the Contest remain with the Contest Sponsors. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify, cancel, suspend and/or terminate any or all parts of the Contest for any reason.
The Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be in violation of these Official Rules. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right to refuse an Entry from a person whose eligibility is in question or who has been disqualified or is otherwise ineligible to enter. Any attempt to tamper with the entry process, interfere with these Official Rules, deliberately damage any website or undermine the administration, security or legitimate operation of the Contest, is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and the Contest Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages and/or other relief (including attorneys’ fees) from all persons responsible for such acts to the fullest extent permitted by law, which may include banning or disqualifying Entrants from this and future contests of the Contest Sponsors. In their sole determination, the Contest Sponsors may disqualify any person who acts in any manner to threaten or abuse or harass any person and to void all such person’s associated Entries. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the Contest should fraud, virus, bugs, or other reasons beyond the control of the Contest Sponsors corrupt the security, proper play or administration of the Contest.
(9) PRIVACY AND PUBLICITY RIGHTS
By submitting an entry, the Entrant grants to the Released Parties the right to use his/her name, Twitter, Facebook and/or Instagram user name, biographical information, image, photos and/or likeness and statements for programming, promotion, trade, commercial, advertising and publicity purposes related to this Contest, at any time or times, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, including, but not limited to, on television, video, the World Wide Web and Internet, without notice, review or approval and without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
The Contest Sponsors respect your right to privacy. Personal information collected from Entrants will only be used by the Contest Sponsors to administer the Contest and, only if consent is actively given at the time of entry, to provide Entrants with information regarding upcoming promotions and/or events from the Contest Sponsors. (10) GOVERNING LAW
The Contest shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations as between any person and/or Entrant and the Contest Sponsors in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with the internal laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, including the procedural provisions of those laws, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws. The Contest Sponsors and all Entrants hereby attorn to the jurisdiction of the courts of that Province, sitting in the City of Toronto, Ontario, in respect of the determination of any matter, issue or dispute arising under or in respect of these Official Rules and/or the Contest and agree that any such determination shall be brought solely and exclusively before such courts.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with the terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
Any words herein importing the masculine gender shall include the feminine gender and vice versa in both the singular and the plural.
This Contest is not in any manner sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. You are providing your information to the Contest Sponsors and not to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. By participating in the Contest, each Entrant releases and agrees to indemnify Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and hold them harmless from and against any and all costs, claims, damages, (including, without limitation, any special, incidental or consequential damages), or any other injury, whether due to negligence or otherwise, to person(s) or property (including, without limitation, death or violation of any personal rights, such as violation of right of publicity/privacy, libel, or slander), due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Contest, or arising out of participation in any Contest related or Prize-related activity, or the receipt, enjoyment, participation in, use or misuse, of any Contest or Prize-related activity, whether hosted by Contest Sponsors or a third party.

RÈGLEMENT BALAYEZ ET ÉPARGNEZ (“règlement officiel”)
AUCUN ACHAT REQUIS. CE CONCOURS EST SOUMIS À TOUTES LES LOIS ET RÉGLEMENTATIONS FÉDÉRALES, PROVINCIALES ET MUNICIPALES APPLICABLES ET EST NUL LÀ OÙ LA LOI L'INTERDIT. LA PARTICIPATION À CE CONCOURS IMPLIQUE L'ACCEPTATION TOTALE ET INCONDITIONNELLE DU PRÉSENT RÈGLEMENT OFFICIEL.
(1) DURÉE DU CONCOURS
Le concours “BALAYEZ et ÉPARGNEZ” (le "concours") commence à 00:00 HAE le 7 août 2025 et se termine à 23:59 HAE le 13 août 2025 (la "durée du concours") et se déroule pendant les heures normales d'ouverture des magasins dans les magasins Léon participants.
(2) ADMISSIBILITÉ
Le concours est ouvert aux résidents canadiens, y compris les résidents du Québec, à l'exclusion de ceux qui n'ont pas atteint l'âge de la majorité dans la juridiction où ils résident au moment de leur participation (respectivement, chacun un "participant"). Les employés de MEUBLES LÉON LTÉE (les “organisateurs du concours”) et les membres de leur famille immédiate (comprenant notamment ceux qui partagent le même domicile), leurs sociétés affiliées, administrateurs, dirigeants, gouverneurs, agents, leurs agences de publicité et de promotion respectives (ensemble avec les organisateurs du concours, les "entités exonérées") ne sont pas admissibles à participer au concours.
(3) COMMENT PARTICIPER
Pendant la durée du concours, les participants admissibles qui possèdent une adresse électronique valide et effectuent un achat en magasin d'une marchandise admissible se verront présenter une expérience numérique “balayez et épargnez” par un directeur du magasin, au moment de passer à la caisse.
Au moment de “balayer”, un rabais gagnant sera révélé à l’écran. Tous les rabais doivent être utilisés au moment de leur dévoilement. En aucune circonstance, une fois que le rabais est révélé, le participant admissible pourra quitter la caisse et retourner ajouter des articles à son achat. De plus, le rabais à l'écran ne pourra en aucun cas être appliqué à l'achat d'un autre consommateur et aucun ajustement ne sera effectué sur des achats antérieurs.
(4) PRIX ET CHANCES DE GAGNER
Au début de la durée du concours, il y a un total de 27100 participations disponibles. Cependant, une seule participation est permise par client/facture.

Le rabais s’applique seulement aux achats sélectionnés de la marchandise suivante : meubles, matelas, électroménagers et articles électroniques* (*EXCLUT les articles populaires, collection Sentiment de connexion, articles en liquidation et articles du centre des soldes). Le rabais ne s’applique PAS aux achats de carte-cadeau, service, taxes ou frais, et ne PEUT PAS être jumelé à aucune autre offre.
(5) CONDITIONS GÉNÉRALES
En cas de conflit entre le règlement officiel et toute instruction ou interprétation du règlement officiel donnée par un employé des organisateurs du concours, le règlement officiel prévaudra. En cas de divergence ou d'incohérence entre les conditions du présent règlement officiel et les divulgations ou autres déclarations contenues dans les documents relatifs au concours, les conditions du présent règlement officiel prévaudront, régiront et contrôleront.
(6) INDEMNISATION
En soumettant une participation à ce concours, chaque participant confirme qu'il comprend et respecte le présent règlement officiel. Chaque participant, ainsi que ses représentants, héritiers, proches parents ou cessionnaires (les “représentants du participant”), dégage les entités exonérées de toute responsabilité en cas de blessures, pertes ou dommages de quelque nature que ce soit subis par le participant, les représentants du participant ou toute autre personne, y compris les blessures corporelles, le décès ou les dommages matériels, résultant en tout ou en partie, directement ou indirectement, de l'acceptation, de la possession, de l'utilisation ou de la mauvaise utilisation du prix, de la participation au concours, de toute violation du règlement officiel ou de toute activité liée au prix. Le participant et ses représentants acceptent d'indemniser intégralement les entités exonérées de toute réclamation de tiers relative au concours, sans limitation.
(7) LIMITES À LA RESPONSABILITÉ
Aucune des entités exonérées n'assume de responsabilité pour les informations incorrectes ou inexactes, qu'elles soient causées par les utilisateurs du site web ou par tout équipement ou programme associé au concours ou utilisé dans le cadre de celui-ci, ou par toute erreur technique ou humaine pouvant survenir dans le traitement des participations au concours, la sélection des gagnants ou toute erreur d'impression ou autre dans les documents du concours. Les entités exonérées n'assument aucune responsabilité en cas d'erreur, d'omission, de falsification, d'interruption, de suppression, de défaut, de retard dans le fonctionnement ou la transmission, de défaillance des lignes de communication, de vol ou de destruction, d'accès autorisé ou d'altération des inscriptions. Les entités exonérées ne sont pas responsables des problèmes, virus ou défaillances techniques des réseaux ou lignes téléphoniques, des systèmes informatiques en ligne, des serveurs ou fournisseurs, du matériel informatique, des logiciels, de la défaillance du courrier électronique ou de la messagerie directe, en raison de problèmes techniques ou d'achalandage accru sur Internet ou sur tout site Web ou d'une combinaison de ceux-ci, y compris les blessures ou les dommages causés aux participants ou à l'ordinateur de toute autre personne en rapport avec ou résultant de la participation ou du téléchargement de matériel dans le cadre du concours.
Aucune des entités exonérées n'assume de responsabilité en cas de dommages corporels ou matériels ou de pertes de quelque nature que ce soit, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, les dommages directs, indirects, consécutifs, accessoires ou punitifs qui pourraient être subis par l'équipement informatique d'un participant ou de toute autre personne et qui résulteraient de la tentative d'un participant de participer au concours ou de télécharger des informations dans le cadre de sa participation au concours ou de l'utilisation d'un site web. Sans limiter la portée de ce qui précède, tout ce qui se trouve sur un site web est fourni "tel quel" sans aucune garantie de quelque nature que ce soit, expresse ou implicite, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, les garanties implicites de qualité marchande, d'adéquation à un usage particulier ou d'absence de contrefaçon.
(8) ADMINISTRATION DU CONCOURS
Toutes les décisions concernant le concours sont du ressort des organisateurs du concours. Les organisateurs du concours se réservent le droit, à leur seule discrétion, de modifier, d'annuler, de suspendre et/ou de mettre fin à tout ou partie du concours pour quelque raison que ce soit.

Les organisateurs du concours se réservent le droit de refuser la participation d'une personne dont l'admissibilité est remise en question, qui a été disqualifiée ou qui n'a pas le droit de participer pour d'autres raisons. Toute tentative de falsification du processus d'inscription, d'interférence avec le présent règlement officiel, d'endommagement délibéré de tout site Web ou d'atteinte à l'administration, à la sécurité ou au fonctionnement légitime du concours constitue une violation du droit pénal et civil, et les organisateurs du concours se réservent le droit de réclamer des dommages-intérêts et/ou d'autres mesures de redressement (y compris les honoraires d'avocat) à toutes les personnes responsables de tels actes dans toute la mesure permise par la loi, ce qui peut inclure l'interdiction ou la disqualification des participants à ce concours et aux concours futurs des organisateurs du concours. (9) DROITS DE PUBLICITÉ ET VIE PRIVÉE
En soumettant une inscription, le participant accorde aux entités exonérées le droit d'utiliser son nom, son nom d'utilisateur Twitter, Facebook et/ou Instagram, ses informations biographiques, son image, ses photos et/ou son image et ses déclarations à des fins de programmation, de promotion, d'échange, de commerce, de publicité et de promotion liées à ce concours, à tout moment, dans tous les médias connus ou découverts à l'avenir, dans le monde entier, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, à la télévision, sur des vidéos, sur le World Wide Web et sur Internet, sans préavis, examen ou approbation et sans rémunération supplémentaire, sauf si la loi l'interdit.
Les organisateurs du concours respectent votre droit à la vie privée. Les informations personnelles recueillies auprès des participants ne seront utilisées par les organisateurs du concours que pour gérer le concours et, uniquement si le consentement est activement donné au moment de l'inscription, pour fournir aux participants des informations sur les promotions et/ou événements à venir des organisateurs du concours. (10) LOIS APPLICABLES
Le concours est régi par les lois de la province de l'Ontario et les lois fédérales du Canada qui s'y appliquent. Sans limiter la généralité de ce qui précède, tous les problèmes et questions concernant la construction, la validité, l'interprétation et l'applicabilité du présent règlement officiel ou les droits et obligations entre toute personne et/ou participant et les organisateurs du concours en relation avec le concours sont régis par les lois internes de la province de l'Ontario, Canada, y compris les dispositions procédurales de ces lois, et interprétés conformément à ces lois, sans donner effet à un choix de loi ou à des règles ou dispositions de conflit de lois qui entraîneraient l'application des lois d'une autre juridiction. Les organisateurs du concours et tous les participants reconnaissent par les présentes la compétence des tribunaux de cette province, siégeant dans la ville de Toronto, en Ontario, en ce qui a trait à la détermination de toute question ou de tout litige découlant du présent règlement officiel ou du concours, et conviennent que toute détermination de ce genre sera portée uniquement et exclusivement devant ces tribunaux.
L'invalidité ou l'inapplicabilité de toute disposition du présent règlement officiel n'affectera pas la validité ou l'applicabilité de toute autre disposition. Si une disposition est jugée non valide, inapplicable ou illégale, le présent règlement officiel reste en vigueur et doit être interprété conformément à ses dispositions, comme si la disposition non valide ou illégale n'était pas contenue dans le présent règlement.
Toute expression du genre masculin comprend le genre féminin et vice versa, tant au singulier qu'au pluriel.
Ce concours n'est en aucun cas parrainé, approuvé, administré par ou associé à Facebook, Instagram ou Twitter. Vous fournissez vos informations aux organisateurs du concours et non à Facebook, Instagram ou Twitter. En participant au concours, chaque participant libère et accepte d'indemniser Facebook, Instagram ou Twitter et de les tenir à l'écart de tous les coûts, réclamations, dommages (y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, les dommages spéciaux, accessoires ou consécutifs), ou tout autre préjudice, qu'il soit dû à la négligence ou autre, à une ou plusieurs personnes ou à des biens (y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, le décès ou la violation de tout droit personnel, tels que la violation du droit de publicité/de la vie privée, la diffamation ou la calomnie), dus en tout ou en partie, directement ou indirectement, à la participation au concours, ou résultant de la participation à toute activité liée au concours ou au prix, ou de la réception, de la jouissance, de la participation, de l'utilisation ou de la mauvaise utilisation de toute activité liée au concours ou au prix, qu'elle soit organisée par les organisateurs du concours ou par une tierce partie.
