Simmons Fresh Firm Crib Mattress is made from recycled polyester core. Thousands of tiny air chambers between the compressed fibers allow air to flow freely for better breathability and a fresher mattress. It is of VOC's as the polyester fibers do not off-gas which can pose a health hazard for a healthier sleep environment. The cover is made from Thermo Cool knit cover with advanced air permeability to help regulate temperature. It comes with 2-stage support with a firm side for infants to 12 months and thicker plush eucalyptus Tencel side for toddlers.
