Horrible pressure points

Comments about Kingsdown Martinique Queen Mattress/Boxspring Set:

I usually love Kingsdown products, but this bed is awful. My partner and I wake up sore with arms falling asleep despite numerous pillow type trials. The sides are so rigid that you tend to sink in the middle. Pressure points are very sore. We haven't had the bed more than a few months and have to start looking for a new one. We added a mattress topper to see if it would help.... It didn't. Very disappointing.

Comments about Kingsdown Martinique Queen Mattress/Boxspring Set:

I waited about three months to write this... I wasn't sure if it was the right mattress for me, as I found it a bit too firm in the beginning, but I see why they make you try it out for 21 days (or whatever it is) first before exchanging.. Because it did seem to soften up after a couple of weeks. A very pleasant and helpful associate at Leon's recommended I go with a firmer mattress, as I am a side to stomach sleeper. Even tho I was looking forward to buying a big fluffy cloud of a bed, I can see she was right, my hips sunk in the softer (plush) mattresses, this one keeps my spine more aligned. All and all it is a very nice and comfortable bed, especially for the price, as I thought I was going to have to spend twice as much for a good quality bed. Hopefully it holds it shape over time.. I'll re-update if possible

Comments about Kingsdown Martinique Queen Mattress/Boxspring Set:

I've had this bed for 5 nights and haven't slept more than an hr A night! There is zero support. Sinks extremely bad in the middle that my shoulders are rounded and if I roll over I have to lift myself up because I'm sunk into A hole. It's the worst mattress I've ever slept on in my life! Very upset as I'm forced to keep this bed for 21 days due to rules. SO Sore and Upset, sad and very disappointed! There is definitely something wrong with it. Feels like an old cottage bed 30yrs old. Actually worse! I have A very bad back (so I thought). After trying to sleep on this mattress for 5 nights I'm 10x worse! NOT HAPPY! Ps. This mattress also makes my feet tingle and hurt as my feet are on A slope upwards!

Comments about Kingsdown Martinique Queen Mattress/Boxspring Set:

This is old style pocket coil comfort! No bells and whistles-just pocket coils with a nice topper. Very little transfer of motion. A good balance of support and comfort! We(unfortunately) tried a couple of other mattresses with extra support in the middle and other newer style "improvements". This mattress, in our opinion, is a good buy for either primary bed or occasional use! Thanks to Leons for having a "Sleep Tight" comfort guarantee!
